La band ha rilasciato la seguente dichiarazione riguardo al nuovo album:
“Sono passati 5 anni dalla nostra ultima pubblicazione, Accursed. L’EP ha rappresentato una nuova strada per la band, che si è orientata verso un approccio stilistico più blackened. Avendo un background più tech death, questo EP è stato un modo per condurre i nostri fan verso la prossima era. Between The Worlds of Life and Death è un album che è davvero una continuazione di ciò che abbiamo iniziato con Accursed. Cattura il sound di base della band, ma porta anche un’interpretazione più nuova e audace di questo marchio di metal. Vogliamo che questo sia l’album più accessibile per i fan del metal. Vogliamo che la gente lo metta su e venga risucchiata immediatamente, ma che continui a tornare per saperne di più”.
